Having trained as a GP in Scotland, Dr Abu-Seido originally pursued a career in paediatrics, gaining membership to the Royal College of Paediatricians. He joined the Mayflower Medical Centre in 2005.

Trained and qualified in London, moving to Essex and working in Internal Medicine shortly after. Qualifying as a GP in 2008, Dr Burn continues to enjoy the variety of work and people that she meets at the practice.

With previous experience in General Surgery, Dr Catmull joined the Mayflower Medical Centre in 2009.

Recently moved from Chelmsford, Dr Roberts is familiar with the local area having previously worked in Colchester and Essex County Hospitals. Dr Roberts enjoys the variety of General Practice with a particular interest in palliative care and family planning.
MBBS BSc MRCGP Qualified 2005 St. Georges Hospital Medical School (Partner) Dr Smith joined the practice in 2010 and currently lives with his family in Colchester. Dr Smith has a special interest in ophthalmology (diseases and conditions of the eyes) and diabetes.

Dr Susa has a keen interest in women's health and diabetes. She is involved in the training of junior doctors.

Qualified as a Doctor in 1992 in Ghana, originally in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Moved to England in 1994 and retrained as a GP, joining the Mayflower Medical Centre in 2004.

Dr Qasim joined the practice in June 2017. She has recently finished her training in Colchester and the Tendring area and is passionate about general practice and patient care.

Dr Ali has interest in clinical areas such as cardiovascular prevention, diabetes, musculosketal problems and preventative medicine. He has extensive experience in area of healthcare management, public health and commissioning at both national and international organisations.
Dr Ali has lived and worked in North East Essex since moving to this country. He completed his training at Mayflower Medical Centre and is now a full time partner here.
Dr Rizvi started at Mayflower Medical Centre in August 2017 having worked at a large Practice in Colchester
Dr Muneer joined Mayflower Medical Centre in August 2017 having worked at Sheffield Children's Hospital, Lewisham Paediatrics department and at a Surgery in Colchester.
Dr Muneer moved to the UK in 2012 having worked in Sri Lanka in Paediatrics and in public health.
The Practice Manager is responsible for non-clinical management of the practice and is assisted by a team of friendly, hardworking receptionists who will make appointments, take messages, answer queries and arrange home visits. All our receptionists are bound by our confidentiality policy.

Having worked for a number of years as a Community Pharmacist, Caroline has joined the practice as a GP Clinical Pharmacist as part of an NHS England pilot. She is working as part of the practice team to make sure your medicines help you get better and stay well, for example by reviewing medicines, carrying out health checks and ordering blood tests as well as assisting practice staff with medicine related queries.

What is a Clinical Pharmacist
The Practice is committed to educating junior doctors because they believe it is important for the future of General Practice and helps bring doctors to the area.
In fact some of the established doctors in the area today came as trainee doctors in the past. You may therefore be offered an appointment with a registrar.
These doctors are closely monitored by Drs Wilson, Abu-Seido and Susa who are accredited GP trainers.
